Brooke County Schools

Every Student, Every Classroom, Every Opportunity

~~~~~~~~~~~~Welcome to the 2018 - 2019 School Year~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Welcome to Brooke County Schools where students are our number one priority.  We strive to provide an outstanding education focusing on college and career readiness while enriching students' lives through the arts, extra-curricular activities, and volunteer opportunities.  Our seven elementary schools, two middle schools, and our high school boast successful students, rising test scores, and excellent attendance rates. Our caring staff, both professional and service, foster a safe and nurturing environment where all students may reach their potential.
    On October 16 from 9 AM to 6 PM, all community members who represent non-profit clubs and organizations such as area churches, Head Start, and Lions Club may sign in at the door at the Follansbee Middle School field house and the Wellsburg Middle School gym and select, tag, and haul away any useful items that may benefit the organization that remain in the buildings. All BCS teacher classroom needs that have been submitted to our Facilities Director will be honored prior to Oct. 16.  When this process is complete, the remaining items will be auctioned.
We still anticipate providing this service pending approval of our application for a license from WV DHHR. We will keep Brooke County Schools informed of when the license is received.
