Ms. Rae Ann Beatty-Cipoletti

I am the Brooke Middle School health teacher and 5th grade physical education teacher.  I am a Brooke High Graduate.  I went to West Liberty State College after high school where I completed my bachelor degree in marketing.  I later returned to college and completed my BSEd. at Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA.  I have my  MA in psychology and am have 3 of five chapters of my dissertation completed and expect my PhD in April, 2019.  I hold a permanent teaching certification in Pennsylvania in Health and Physical Education where I taught elementary (K-6) physical education.  Later I taught physical education to the autistic population in 7th and 8th grade, 9th and 10th grade girls physical education and swimming, and 10th grade co-ed health. I am certified to teach Health and Physical Education Pre-k through adult in PA and WV.  I am also certified to teach social studies in PA and WV.


When I am not teaching or studying and working on my Ph.D. you can find me doing some kind of physical activity or traveling with my sister/sisters.   I am an animal lover and rescue feral cats.  I am happily a vegan, meaning I eat no animal products at all, and a mother of two wonderful children.  My son, Chas, is 29 and served in the United States Marine Corp while completing his bachelor degree at Slippery Rock University in finance.  He currently is the Human Resource Manager of a 500+ employee facility in Dallas, Texas.  My daughter, Lauren, is 25 and has her degree in politcal science from Grove City College and her MA in psychology and works as an inpatient psychiatric counselor at Beaver County Hospital and a drug and alcohol counselor.


I am currently a mother to one Persian cat named Leo and grandmother to 6 rescued cats.  My son has 3 and my daughter has 3.
