Miss Amy Geddis

My name is Miss Geddis.  I attended West Liberty State College and received my BA in 1993.  I then attended Franciscan University and received my MSED in 2002.  I have worked in the field of education for 20 years, I started teaching at Jefferson County Head Start.  Then I became the Disability Services Coordinator for Head Start and a substitute teacher for local school districts. I decided that I missed the classroom full time so I decided to look for a teaching position.  Boy was I lucky to get hired at Brooke County Schools.  As the Reading Intervention Specialist, my role is to provide support to students, staff, and parents in order to encourage and promote literacy growth in our students.  I look forward to many happy years with Brooke County Schools!
