Kelly Hannaoui

Hello, my name is Kelly Hannaoui.  I am a Severe and Multiple Disabilities teacher at Brooke High School.  I have been a teacher in Brooke County Schools for the past 18 years.  I graduated from West Liberty University (State College, back in those days), with a degree in Elementary Education.  After several years of being a substitute teacher, I returned to school for my Masters Degree.  I graduated from West Virginia University with a Masters Degree in Behavior Disorders and Severe and Multiple Disabilities.

Initially, I though getting my degree in Special Education would get my "foot in the door" and I could eventually move to an Elementary Ed. position.  I had no idea that I had found my true calling with my Special Ed. degree.  I love my students and my job and could not imagine doing anything else.  There is no greater joy than watching a student achieve a goal or grow with independence.
