Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Nicole Cowgill
I am excited to be joining the 5th grade team at Brooke Middle School. This will be my 7th year working in Brooke County. I am excited to share my love of history with our amazing students. This year your child will be experiencing history in a variety of hands on activities, projects, simulations etc. In my classroom I try make history come live.
I was born and raised in Wheeling West Virginia. I am the oldest of four. I currently live in Martins Ferry with my husband, 8 year old daughter and we are expecting our second child at the end of 2018. Family is important to me and I treasure every second spent with them. In my free time I also enjoy the outdoors, going to the zoo, swimming, a random weekend road trip, coffee shops, dinner with friends, and taking my daughter to dance class. Autism has a very special place in my heart as I am raising a child on the spectrum.
I know each child is a unique individual and learns best in a variety of ways. I promise to do my best to meet your child’s needs and work as a team with you to help them achieve success.
I graduated from West Liberty University in 2006 and received my masters in elementary education from Marshall University in 2011. My certifications include elementary education k-6, middle school science 5-9 and Multi-Cat K-6.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me and I will get back to you quickly.
