Mrs. Lesli Harvath
Mrs. Lesli Harvath is our Speech Language Pathologist with 19 years of experience. She has been married to her husband, Lou, for 18 years and has two daughters, Kacie (16) and Kiersten (7). Mrs. Harvath has worked for Brooke County Schools since 1998. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University and her Master of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from California University of Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Harvath is a National Board Certified Teacher and has held a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech Language Hearing Association since 1999. She has completed multiple trainings and has earned certification for many programs and Speech Therapy techniques including SCERTS, PECS (level 1 and 2), IPAP, ADOS-2, LETRS, Visual Phonics, and augmentative communication (Vantage Lite). Mrs. Harvath has also been trained through the West Virginia Autism Training Center on “Family Focus Positive Behavior Support”. Mrs. Harvath has served on multiple school committees including the WV Safe and Supportive Schools and the LSIC.
