Mrs. Stone

       Mrs. Stone is a native of Weirton, WV.  This is her fourth year teaching special education in Brooke County.  This is her first year as an Instructional Support Specialist at Brooke Intermediate South where she provides support in reading and math instruction and intervention for both students and teachers. 

       Mrs. Stone graduated from West Liberty University in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, Multi-Categorical Special Education K-6 (MI/BD/LD), and Autism certification.  She is a recent graduate of Francisican University of Steubenville where she received her Masters degree in Education and Reading Specialization. Mrs. Stone presently resides in Steubenville, OH with her husband, Ollie, and their one-year-old daughter.  She has two dogs, Bodhi and Saint, and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and relaxing at home. 

      Mrs. Stone believes that all children need and deserve love and a positive role model, and strives to be that for the students of Brooke County schools.
